The El Poso is a beautiful free stone creek which gives the opportunity for some great dry fly action. The fish in this creek are all browns running 8-14″
The South Vallejos and San Francisco Creek are both smaller creeks with high Alpine meadows. 95% of the fishing is sight casting with dries. All of the fish are wild browns except for a few pure Rio Grande cuts high up on the South Vallejos.
The Cuelebra is the largest stream on the ranch with pools, riffles, and runs and a great view of the only 14,000 feet peak on private land in Colorado. The Cuelebra has wild browns and cutbows and higher up in the meadows it has native Rio Grande cuts, beaver ponds, and brookies. The fish on this stream average 8-18″.
The ranch is over 80,000 acres of the most beautiful views and pristine free-flowing streams that southern Colorado has to offer. The fishing on the ranch is guided and catch and release only. All fish are wild, no stockers because we want you to experience what true mountain stream fishing is all about.
